Just Some Pics to Share...

I just had a couple of pictures that I wanted to share, so here they are:

Here is Maddy enjoying her pears. The more new foods we try, the more she seems to like to eat them. I'm LOVING that she doesn't seem like a picky eater so far!! Woo Hoo!!


This is a short video of Maddy playing with her spoon after she ate her pears. Don't worry. She was enjoying herself. The noise she is making is a new noise that she just figured out how to make, so she does it all the time. If she was upset, there would be big crocodile tears rolling down her face!! :)




Here's a picture from last night's bath time. Don't worry, it was MADDY'S bath time, not mine!! I think she likes the bath, what do you think?!?!


Well, that's it for us for now. Maddy's napping, so I'm going to rest. We had a long night last night!! Talk to you all later!

Stewey's First Trip to the Park

We took Maddy to the park today, and she never once cracked a smile. I'm not sure if it was because it was cooler than we thought it was going to be... Or if it was the fact that there were so many people there today... Or if she just, plain, wasn't impressed with the park, but we were only there for about 5 minutes before we got back in the car to come home. Here are some pictures of our little Stewey (like the baby on the TV show Family Guy) "enjoying" herself at the park:

Here is Maddy riding in the swing. I'm not too sure why we thought she'd be excited about this... seeing as how she doesn't care too much about riding in her swing at home...



Then, some random kid decided to come over and push her. Thankfully, his mom said something before I had to...



Then, I took her down the kiddie slide. Still... absolutely no expression...



We tried riding on a little bouncy horse, too... You guessed it... NOT IMPRESSED!!



Lastly, here is a video of Maddy on the swing. It's not all that exciting, but I took the video with the intention of putting it on my blog today, so HERE IT IS!! ENJOY!!






On to other news...

Bryan and I just got new bedding for our bed. Here's a picture of it:



The last bit of "news" is that Bryan and I are going to a "Redneck Hoedown" tonight. It's a welcome home party for his squadron in honor of those that just returned home from the deployment. Our friends Bailey and Marshall are going to watch Maddy for us while we go. I hope we have a good time. I also hope that Maddy has fun with them. She's still very fickle when it comes to baby sitters. Sometimes she does GREAT. Other times... well, not-so-much. We'll have to wait and see how it goes tonight. Especially since she was not at all impressed with the park today... She's napping right now, so I'm hoping that she'll be in a good mood for them, and play and giggle and enjoy herself!! :)

Oh well... If there's anything noteworthy about the party, I'll be sure to blog and post pictures. If not, well, just assume that we didn't stay long and it was free dinner. HaHaHa. Just kidding!! :)

New Pictures

I have some new pictures to share with all of you, so here goes:

Here is Maddy playing with her new ExerSaucer. This was our second eBay purchase, and while it was not quite the purchase that our first one (the jogging stroller) was (there were a few pieces/parts missing and it was dirty), Maddy seems to like this toy quite a bit. What do you think??



Yesterday, Maddy and I went to a baby party. The party was at the home of the water aerobics instructor from when I was pregnant. The teacher invited all the girls to her house for a potluck so we could all show off our babies. Here is a picture of all the kiddos laying on the floor together:


If you'll notice there are only 2 boys in the picture, and somehow, Maddy wound up between them. Oh boy are we in for it!! :)

Hi There!

Hey everyone! This is just a quick blog to say hey. I know I haven't blogged in quite a while. We've been pretty busy with our whirlwind trip to south Texas, fighting off a cold that we all three got and just plain living life. Today, while I was feeding Maddy green beans at lunch, I decided it was time to take a few more pictures to share with everyone... and I got a quick video that I thought you'd like to see, too.

First, here is a picture of Maddy relaxing in the new jogging stroller. Please note that this is one cool baby with her sunglasses resting on her head!! HaHaHa. I love having a real live baby doll to dress up!! It's great that she's pretty cooperative, too!! :)



Next, is a picture of Maddy "driving" the car in the Wal*Mart parking lot. We stopped to feed her at the ripe hour of 5 AM (we left the house about 3 AM), and while she was out of her seat stretching her legs, Bryan let her "drive". Don't worry... We were in park the entire time!! We will have to work on her "keep your eyes on the road" thing, though. LoL.


Now is Maddy in her dress at Bryan's friend Kevin's wedding:



I will try to get a better one when she wears her dress again for Easter!!

Now, I will share a picture of the three of us at Kevin's wedding. Please note that Maddy and her Daddy match. I had no idea but the bridesmaids' dresses and the accents on the tuxes were the same color as Maddy's dress. I did good, didn't I?!?! :)



Now on to today's pictures and video. The first couple are just to show how well Maddy "wears" her lunch these days. Please note the 2 top teeth that are clearly visible in the first picture!!




Finally is a video of Maddy with green beans... ALL OVER!! Check out the spot on the top of her head on the right. She's such a mess!!! :)




Well, that's about it for now. I'll tell you that we're getting some COLD weather now. I hear that it's headed your way soon, so hunker down, and head out to get some bread, milk and eggs... You never know when that french toast craving could hit!!

It's Me Again...

Hi everyone! It's me... Maddy... You know, the cutest baby to ever grace the world with her presence?? Get it?? Maddy Grace?? HaHaHa. I'm so witty!!! :)

Mom put me in this new jumper today that she got at the consignment sale last week, and I LOVED it, so I thought I'd share some pictures with you. Mom took the pictures because I haven't figured out how to use the self timer on her camera yet. Check me out:




Mom stood me up on the chair in her room so everyone could see my cute bloomers with my name on them. Thanks Great Uncle Mike, Great Aunt Michelle, Hannah and Heather. I LOVE THEM!!

Mom, Dad and I are headed to Beaumont, TX this weekend for Dad's friend Kevin's wedding. Mom got a dress for me at the consignment sale to wear, so hopefully she'll get some pictures of me in it to share with you!!

Mom also keeps talking about something called eBay. Between you and me, I think she's getting addicted to it. She bought a jogging stroller from there and keeps telling me that it will be here tomorrow. She says that I'll really like it, and when Daddy goes running, he can take me with him. She also said that when she and her friends go for walks in the neighborhood we're going to use it. She said something about it having speakers on it so she can hook her iPod to it, and we can listen to music while we walk. It sounds pretty neat. I hope none of us are disappointed. She also bought an exersaucer for me on eBay. She's not sure when it will get here, but if it's anything like the one we have borrowed from our neighbor, I'm going to LOVE it!!!

The only other news we have around here is that Mom keeps making me try new foods. I really like my rice cereal now. I eat carrots and green beans. The sweet potatoes have too much flavor. Mom says that I will probably like them more when I get a little bigger and have tried a few more things. I'm going to give it another shot, but not just yet. Mom hopes that when we go for my 6 month check up, the doctor says that I can try some more solid type foods like biter biscuits. I have 3 teeth that have completely broken through my gums and a 4th that will break through any day now. My mom is still shocked about all my teeth. By the way... Did you all realize that I will be 5 months old on Sunday?!?! Crazy, huh?!?! It'll be my half birthday before you know it. Wanna party?!?!

Oh well... I didn't go to sleep very easily tonight (nor have I the past few nights), so Mom and I are going to hit the hay early tonight. Mom says we have a long weekend ahead of us. I'm not sure what that means, but I'm going to be on my best behavior!!
