Hey everyone!! Mommy put me to bed a little while ago, but I snuck out of my room to share a little something with you all...
Mommy and Daddy keep talking about there being a new baby in our house, but I know that I'll always be the baby!! (Poor Nash keeps moving lower down the totem poll... HaHaHa...)
Mommy hasn't gone to the doctor yet. She said I'll get to go play with my friends on March 24 when she goes. I hope they don't give her a shot! She always gives me big hugs when I have to get a shot. I won't be there to give her big hugs. Oh well... She's a big girl... She can handle it! Mommy and Daddy think the new baby will be here a couple of weeks after my birthday this year. That means they're guessing Mommy is about 4 or 5 weeks along. I saw her taking pictures of herself with a white tank top and black pants the other day. She was muttering something under her breath like "here we grow again". It looks like the same outfit she wore in all the pictures of her when she was pregnant with me. Maybe she'll share those pictures with you guys and you'll understand more than I do...
Well, it sounds like Mommy is finished getting ready for bed, so I better get back to MY bed before she comes out here to check all the lights and doors...
Can't wait to talk to everyone soon!!
Love,
Maddy :)

New Kicks
Maddy got some new kicks today. I think she likes them as she threw a HUGE fit in the middle of the store when I took them off her (I tried them on to see if they would fit). I explained that we had to put them back in the box so we could pay for them. Yeah... I'm aware that reasoning with a 16 month old is almost as productive as reasoning with Nash. LoL. Once we were home, she put them on, and didn't want to take them off. Thankfully, she was so tired at bedtime that she didn't put up much of a fight!! Here are some pictures and a little video:
Yes, those are the Disney Princesses on her shoes... What can I say? She's bald, so we have to choose the girliest options!! Oh yeah, and I happen to LOVE these shoes!! ;)
I also wanted to share this picture. I happen to think it's pretty adorable... We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel this past weekend... Here are my two loves!! :)
Well, I guess that's about it... Not too much going on in our house these days!
Love you guys!! :)

SNOW!!!
Well, we had the first snowfall of 2010... Not the first of the season, but it was impressive nonetheless!!! Here are just a couple of pictures. We, honestly, took advantage of the snow rather than all the picture taking, so, I'm sorry to report that there aren't a ton of pictures... Here they are, though!!
This is looking down our street around 10 AM...
This is the princess standing in the snow. It was too deep for her liking to walk anywhere... :)
Maddy & Mommy... Too bad my eyes are closed... :(
Maddy & Daddy
Maddy & Nash... Did Maddy just tell Nash to lay down? Kinda looks that way...
Pretty in pink... (but not too sure about the snow...)
We walked over to Mike & Breezy's house to see if they wanted to play... No dice... Breezy was at work, and Mike wanted nothing to do with leaving his warm house... Oh well... Maybe next time!! :)
The rest of the day was pretty anticlimactic... Our very good friends Mike and Breezy came over for Southwestern Egg Rolls. We had a really nice time, and they helped cook which was SUPER nice!! :)
The only other news is that Maddy's friend Charlie came over for a sleepover tonight. Charlie's mom, Diana, is heading to the hospital in the morning to be induced and have Charlie's baby sister Lilly. Diana is VERY READY for Lilly to make her grand entrance. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. She's been such a trooper as things have not been picture-perfect lately. Let's suffice it to say that her husband is driving home in this nasty weather from Little Rock as we speak in hopes of being here before she heads to the hospital at 5 AM!!! Like I said, she's a TROOPER, and please keep them in your prayers!!
Oh well... Bryan and I have successfully gotten two children to bed with no tears (from them or us), so I think we'll go spend a little time together...
Have a great ending to your week!
Love you guys!! :)
P.S. If you didn't see my blog yesterday, we've got some BIG NEWS to share, so check it out!!!

BIG NEWS!!!
Some of you may know what we're staring in the face right now with Bryan's job... If you don't know, feel free to call either me or my mom, and we can give a simple answer. In spite of that "happiness", we got some GREAT news this week, and now that it's official, I can blog about it...
Dyess AFB has been a great home for us these past 3 years, but...
...Are you ready for this??
...
Are you sure you can handle it??
...
I don't know... Maybe I should wait until tomorrow (as I promised in my last post)...
...
Ok, I give...
WE'RE GOING TO PILOT TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bryan applied back in October to go to pilot training. This will mean that he'll no longer be a navigator... He'll be a pilot!!! We have absolutely ZERO details at this point in time, so we don't know when he'll be going (hopefully this fall sometime). We don't know which base we'll be going to for training. There are 3 bases (that I am aware of) that train pilots (one is in Del Rio, TX, another in Enid, OK and a third in Columbus, MS), and we do not get to choose which one. It will be assigned to us hopefully sooner rather than later. Once he's in training, he'll get a chance to make a "dream sheet" of which planes and bases we would want to go to. So, like I said, other than the fact that he got a pilot slot and will be going to training, we don't know anything else.
I hope the rest of you are at least half as excited as we are!! I'm pretty stinkin proud of him!! This deserves a HUGE WOO-HOO!!!
Love you Bryan!! Congrats!!

Videos
Hey everyone! It has been brought to my attention that there seems to be a problem with the videos I've previously posted to the blog. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it seems to be the case with all the videos I've previously posted. Unfortunately, our life is pretty much chaos right now (sit tight for a blog with exciting news tomorrow), so there isn't much I can do about it right now. I hope to have something video-worthy happen soon so that I can try to post a new video. In the meantime, I suppose that the still photos will have to tide everyone over! I apologize for any Maddy withdrawls, and I'll try to remedy the problem as soon as my head is above water again!
Love you guys!! :)

Giggle Box
Bryan and Nash had Maddy giggling like CRAZY tonight... Check them out!
It's amazing what a wrapping paper tube will do for entertaining children (young and not-so-young alike). LoL..
Here's another video... If you listen carefully, you can hear Maddy say "Daddy"... As in, "Da-ddy stop...". LoL. LOVE THESE TWO!!
I hope you enjoyed these videos... Have a great Friday, and a great weekend!! I know we plan to!!

Two-fer Tuesday
Today is two-fer Tuesday... As in, 2 blogs for the price of one... I don't think you'll be disappointed with the cost (because it's free to you)... I asked Maddy to show me her muscles, and this is what I got:
I can honestly say this time that I have NO IDEA where she learned this "trick". LoL. I think it's pretty funny, though. Sometimes she'll even give a little grunt with a grimaced face. HaHaHa...
Here are a couple of pictures to show her height:
Ok, so the last one really has nothing to do with height, but, let's face it, it's just DANG CUTE!! :) LOVE this kid!!
Have a great hump day tomorrow!

Cheesy Little Girl...
Hi All!!! Here are just a few pictures of The Princess goofing off. Nothing special... They weren't taken with the fancy camera... She was just being silly while I was trying to take pictures of something else (see below)... So, HERE SHE IS!!
We're continuing to work on Maddy's sign language. I've changed my teaching strategy, however. Now, whenever she does the sign, I say the word so she'll start associating the sign with the word in hopes that she'll eventually start saying the words. I think so far we've had a little success!! Check her out!! :)
Here are the other pictures I was TRYING to take when Maddy JUST HAD to have her picture taken. LoL. Really, she was just standing at my feet with a big, cheesy grin, and I couldn't help but take her picture. :)
A year or two ago the spouses' group with the squadron went to a place here called Mine By Design. It's a paint your own pottery place. I made this platter (sorry it's sideways... It won't turn for some strange reason):
Well, the other night, we had another spouses' social at the same place, and I made this:
I'm pretty stinkin' excited. There has been no talk from the leadership of the squadron about us moving, but I told Bryan that I needed a few more matching serving pieces before we move away from here. LoL. :)
I hope everyone's having a nice week!! We're trying to enjoy ours, but the weather isn't exactly magnificent. LoL. I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones dealing with this at the moment!! :)
