SNOW!!!

Well, we had the first snowfall of 2010... Not the first of the season, but it was impressive nonetheless!!! Here are just a couple of pictures. We, honestly, took advantage of the snow rather than all the picture taking, so, I'm sorry to report that there aren't a ton of pictures... Here they are, though!!

This is looking down our street around 10 AM...

This is the princess standing in the snow. It was too deep for her liking to walk anywhere... :)

Maddy & Mommy... Too bad my eyes are closed... :(

Maddy & Daddy

Maddy & Nash... Did Maddy just tell Nash to lay down? Kinda looks that way...

Pretty in pink... (but not too sure about the snow...)

We walked over to Mike & Breezy's house to see if they wanted to play... No dice... Breezy was at work, and Mike wanted nothing to do with leaving his warm house... Oh well... Maybe next time!! :)

The rest of the day was pretty anticlimactic... Our very good friends Mike and Breezy came over for Southwestern Egg Rolls. We had a really nice time, and they helped cook which was SUPER nice!! :)

The only other news is that Maddy's friend Charlie came over for a sleepover tonight. Charlie's mom, Diana, is heading to the hospital in the morning to be induced and have Charlie's baby sister Lilly. Diana is VERY READY for Lilly to make her grand entrance. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. She's been such a trooper as things have not been picture-perfect lately. Let's suffice it to say that her husband is driving home in this nasty weather from Little Rock as we speak in hopes of being here before she heads to the hospital at 5 AM!!! Like I said, she's a TROOPER, and please keep them in your prayers!!

Oh well... Bryan and I have successfully gotten two children to bed with no tears (from them or us), so I think we'll go spend a little time together...

Have a great ending to your week!

Love you guys!! :)

P.S. If you didn't see my blog yesterday, we've got some BIG NEWS to share, so check it out!!!

Kids make a snow storm FUN! We are waiting for the grandkids to get here in our snow storm, right now. Watch for pictures soon.
Hope Maddy enjoys the winter sports. Stay warm...

Your snow loves lovely and Maddy will love it more and more as she grows up and can build snowmen.

Isn't snow odd for Texas? You've gotten two or more significant snowfalls haven't you? Must be that Northern Blood you got from your mom!
