Well, last night was NOT a good night in our house again. Maddy was up and down all night long. About 2 AM I decided that we were going to the doctor today just to get a professional opinion on whether she is being stubborn about not wanting to sleep or if there is something wrong. Are you ready for this Mother-of-the-year moment?? Apparently, Maddy has an ear infection!! :( Now, of course, I feel like dirt since she's been suffering for several days. We've already had the first dose of the antibiotic, so hopefully she'll be on the mend very soon. The doctor also suggested that I give her some OTC allergy medicine before bed at night, and keep putting her lotion on her to help with the contact rash that never seems to go away. He thinks the allergies could be adding to the nighttime waking. Here's hoping that all this stuff will help!! Please say a little prayer for her that she starts feeling better VERY soon!!
Just wanted to update everyone on what's going on in our little world! Bryan will be home in T-3 days to pick us up to start our big road trip!! Woo Hoo!! See everyone soon!!
Love you guys!! :)

Good catch DR MOM!
Good work, sweetheart.
Love.
I'm glad you found out what the problem was (is)..... It's really all Maddy's fault for not just saying "Hey, mom, my ear hurts"!!! LOL...
Hope she's feeling better real soon.
Love ya!!
Maybe this will encourage to learn how to talk faster;)
Also, I was reading a blog, and it recommended spraying some lilac spray on a baby's bedding if they're having problems calming down enough to go to sleep. It's not a heavy duty solution, but it might help.
I know how frustrating your situation can be. We still have to second guess what is going on with Denny all the time - he can't tell us either! Just be glad that you persisted in tracking down the problem. All will be well in the end. The reason kids get these problems early is so they don't remember them when they go away...
Thanks for the encouragement. Maddy is currently napping (who wouldn't be after antibiotics and Zyrtec??). I think we may have found a solution!! ::FINGERS CROSSED::
Catherine, some others have suggested to me about spraying the sheets with a light spray, but I worry about her allergies and her face being that close to the spray. I like the suggestion, but I'm afraid it could just make the problem worse at this point, and let's face it, we don't need to make ANYTHING worse right now!! :)
No big deal! Ourr asst principal sent her son back to basketball camp when he said he hurt his finger. Turns out, it was crooked, black and BROKEN! A couple other ladies I work with told similar stories of kids with broken bones.
